Well it’s the start of the new week, and it’s going to be the second week of tradition for the CSSC (Canadian Short Screenplay Competition).
What is this tradition? Some may say it’s a spin-off of the ever popular Twitter trend, Follow Friday. Well in a sense, they’d be correct. But this tradition is more so than a spin-off, it’s Writers Wednesday and it is looking to dominate the twitting world!
How did it start?
A week and a bit ago I had tweeted out “Does anyone have the power to deem tomorrow Writers Wednesday”, and the response was nothing short of amusing. Several people replied back with a hint of laughter, “I think you just did”.
So that coming Wednesday the CSSC posted it’s Writers Wednesday contenders, and had a few people follow suit.
And?
Now we want YOU to tweet this wednesday with the hashtag #WW (Writers Wednesday) and much like Follow Friday and Music Monday, @ the Twitter accounts you find handy or amusing… but the catch is, they must be writers, either professionally or casually.
