And the Top 13 short film scripts of 2009 are….

We announced earlier today via twitter our top 13 scripts and writers out of the 2009 competition. It’s a heated race to the finish line which is now in sight. At exactly one month away, the winner of the 2009 CSSC will be crowned at the Yorkton Film Festival during teh Golden Sheaf gala awards ceremony. We hope to see you there. Now enough blabbing from us… onto the meat and potatoes!!

David Cormican, founder of the Canadian Short Screenplay Competition, is pleased to announce the top thirteen finalist selections for the 2009 CSSC.

The list of thirteen short film scripts and writers was determined by the judges and narrowed down from the previously announced Top 25 screenplays as entered in competition from all 2009 CSSC entries.

The grand prize winner will receive the Writers’ Block Crystal in addition to $1,000, while 2nd and 3rd place will receive $500 and $250, respectively. The announcement will be made official and the writers honoured during the Golden Sheaf Awards gala at the Yorkton Film Festival, May 29, 2010 in Yorkton, SK.
